WiscoM NEEDS WRITERS

Anyone out there want to write a regular, semi-regular, or now-and-then column? Book reviews? Movie reviews? Tell us about all the 'fests in Milwaukee? Everything will be considered. I can also use any and all original material --including artwork -- that can fill empty spaces. I must have the writer's name for an item to be considered, but I'm perfectly happy to publish anonymously or under a pseudonym if you prefer. See below for how to send articles.

 NOTE: When the address appears in the "Send To" window of your e-mail program, add "mensa.org" to complete the address before sending the message.

WiscoM Submissions Information

Submissions should be a page or less, but longer is all right as long as people understand the Editor may have to edit for space. As stated in the boilerplate, submissions with offensive language or slurs of any kind will not be published.

E-mail electronic submissions to The Editor. The preferred file formats are plain text (.txt) or Rich Text (.rtf) files. Artwork / images in JPG or GIF format. Please limit Letters to the Editor to 300 words or less. Contributions must bear the full name, member number and address of the contributor. We will not publish your name if you so request.

Advertise in WiscoM

Advertisements must be sent with a check payable to Mensa of Wisconsin.Inc. to the WiscoM Editor at P.O. Box 1114, Milwaukee, WI 53201. The advertisement submission deadline is the 5th of the month before the issue month. WiscoM reserves the right to screen all ads prior to publishing and to reject those that do not meet our guidelines for content.

Classified Advertisements: For Sale, Personals, Position Wanted, and Job Openings are for Mensa members only. Rates are $0.40 per line where a line is one column width and has a maximum of 50 characters. Job Opening and Position Wanted ads are free the first month they are run.

Display Advertisements: Member rates per month are $7.50 for business-card size, $12.50 for quarter-page size, $24.00 for half-page size, and $45.00 for full-page size. Non-member rates are twice those shown above.
